You must meet all of these requirements to complete your application:

  • Are you over age 18?
  • Do you have basic IT skills and access to a computer, smartphone or tablet?
  • Do you identify as LGBT+?
  • Do you have access to a landline, or a mobile phone with good signal?
  • Can you commit to 4-6 hours a month for your tea party group volunteer role?
  • Can you commit to 4-6 hours a month for your activity group coordinator volunteer role?
  • Can you commit to 6-8 hours a month for your flicks and friends group coordinator volunteer role?
  • Do you have access to a car?
  • Do you have a full driving licence?
  • Do you have a DBS / PVG certificate? If not, are you willing to get one? We’ll guide you through the process and cover costs.
  • Do you have previous experience of driving a minibus?
  • Are you between the ages of 25 and 70 for your lunch club minibus driver volunteer role?
  • Do you hold a valid D1 classification on your driving license?
  • Do you have or are you willing to obtain a MIDAS qualification and manual handling certification?
  • Drivers will need to run safety checks and complete records at the beginning of each journey – are you willing to do so?
  • Do you have, or are you willing to gain, the necessary Health and Safety and Food Hygiene qualifications for your lunch club – Crosby volunteer role?
  • Do you have adequate parking near your home?
  • Are able to access your home without having to climb three or more steps?
  • Are you able to provide a variety of seating options for guests within your home?
  • Do you have a downstairs bathroom and easy to access facilities?
  • Are you comfortable and confident about asking people questions over the phone?
  • Are you good at making accurate records / notes?
  • Are you happy taking on a variety of tasks in your volunteering role?
